Hi I’m Beth, an artist and Stained Glass maker based in the creative Somerset market town of Frome where you can also find my studio at the beautiful Vallis Farm.

 

I have a BA(hons) and Masters in Fine Art Photography where I discovered my love for medium format B&W film photography and then later on the delicate process of cyanotypes which for many years I enjoyed working in. However in the last couple of years I have re-trained and turned my creative practice to Stained Glass. In a way, still using light to create artwork.​​​

Through my work and inspirations I seek to demonstrate the beautiful complexity, temporality and poetic nature of landscape and plants.

Art can be a way of both interacting and perceiving the landscape while also a simple touch of introducing something special into your space. I hope you enjoy interacting with my work as much as I enjoyed creating each piece!

I work with both traditional and copper foiling stained glass as well as taking on simple restoration pieces. From small to large panel commissions, to stained glass flowers created from the off-cuts.
